Hands On Training For Firefighters and Their Spouse
Firefighters and their significant other are invited to our Hands On Training for Marriage Workshop during the Firehouse Expo Pre-Conference in Nashville.
The event takes place at the convention center on October 19th from 9 am to Noon and features Dan and Lori Mercer, founders of 24-7 COMMITMENT and author of Honor and Commitment, Standard Life Operating Guidelines for Firefighters and their Family.
This 3 hour workshop includes talks and hands on activities that firefighter couples perform together to strengthen their marriage, especially as it pertains to the challenges and benefits of the fire life. All activities are performed within a classroom (i.e. we aren't spraying water at this one!)
